Oscar Orellana is the Founder and Principal of PediaMind Search Partners LLC (DBA: “PediaMind”), a search fund formed to acquire and operate a business in the pediatric behavioral health industry.

The Principal has over a decade of experience in health and safety operations, corporate development, and behavioral healthcare services. He began his career in the oil and gas sector, where he led the development and oversight of health and safety programs for large-scale industrial projects, with a focus on employee behavioral health and regulatory compliance.

In 2020, the Principal founded Orellana & Company, a corporate development firm serving small to lower-middle market outpatient behavioral health providers. His responsibilities included strategic planning, operational restructuring, insurance contracting, and M&A support. These engagements provided direct exposure to the operational and financial dynamics of behavioral health businesses.

Through his work with outpatient behavioral health providers, the Principal identified growing demand for pediatric services and the opportunity to build a platform in a fragmented segment of the market. PediaMind was established to pursue acquisitions in this niche market.

Oscar holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from The Pennsylvania State University and is currently pursuing an MBA in Corporate Finance at Fordham University’s Gabelli School of Business (expected May 2026). He lives in New York City with his partner and, in his free time, enjoys expanding his professional network, exploring U.S. and international wine regions, and engaging with contemporary and classical art.
